The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert in all districts of Uttarakhand on Monday (05 May).

Thunderstorms accompanied by strong surface winds and hailstorms can be expected in Uttarkashi, New Tehri, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Almora, Pauri Garhwal, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar, and Dehradun.
