As per reports, a 25-kilogram Improvised Explosive Device (IED), planted by Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on the Usur-Awapalli main road, was detected and safely destroyed by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team on Sunday (02 February). The IED was found in a plastic container near Dhan Mandi and was neutralized without incident.
