Hurricane Beryl-related disruptions expected in Ottawa from Tuesday (09 July)

As per reports, Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa, warning of possible heavy rainfall at rates of upto 20 to 40 millimeters of rainfall per hour at times, with localized rainfall totals possibly in excess of 50 millimeters.

The weather system is expected to hit Ottawa beginning late Tuesday (09 July) night or Wednesday (10 July), and continue into Thursday (11 July).
