As per reports, a house fire was reported at 2320 hours on Monday (14 April) in Ellerton Road in Mount Eden suburb of Auckland city. Fire and Emergency deployed five trucks to attend the fire and it was extinguished around 0030 hours on Thursday (15 April).

The Auckland police confirmed that cannabis was being grown at the address. A scene examination is expected on Tuesday (15 April) by the Fire and Emergency, and the investigation is ongoing.
