As per reports, ten people are hospitalized, after a house located at 200 Carbon Street in Syracuse, New York collapsed on Tuesday (18 June) early evening in a possible gas explosion.
Of the ten individuals hospitalized, eight are considered seriously injured.
• Carbon Street is blocked off between Oberst Street and John Street in view of the emergency operation at a collapsed home.
• Reports indicate that after a long search, Syracuse firefighters have determined no one else was trapped inside the collapsed home on Carbon Street.
• The gas in the area was also being reportedly secured and shut off and other houses were being checked for possible leaks.
• Reportedly, Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh was on the scene with first responders as they continue investigating the cause of the collapse.
