Hoax bomb threat issued to Vellore Collector’s Office on Tuesday (01 July)

As per reports, a postal letter warning of a bomb was delivered to the Vellore Collector’s Office in Sathuvachari, Vellore on Tuesday (01 July). The building was promptly evacuated and searched by police personnel and sniffer dogs.

After the conclusion of the search, the threat was declared to be a hoax. Authorities are currently probing the origin of the threat.
