According to reports, for the Budget session of the Odisha Assembly from Monday (05 February) that will continue till 13 February, the Commissionerate Police has made elaborate security arrangements outside the Assembly and in the areas nearby in Bhubaneswar.
• A three-tier security has been put in place around the Assembly. Further, 28 platoons of police force, SOG, striking force, bomb diffusing squad, quick action teams, dog squads and fire service personnel will be deployed.
• CCTVs have been installed around the Assembly, at Lower PMG, Rabindra Mandap and nearby areas to keep a vigil on suspects and demonstrators during the Assembly session.
• five makeshift police control rooms have been opened while eight DSPs, 16 ACPs and over 100 police personnel led by DCP Prateek Singh will be deployed.
• Five routes connected to the Assembly have been diverted.
