Heavy rainfall expected in some provinces on Wednesday (04 September)

As per reports, the Department of Meteorology has stated that showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts on Wednesday (04 September).

Strong winds of about 40-50 kmph can be expected at times over Western slopes of the central hills, Northern, North-central and North-western provinces and in Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
