As per reports, on Sunday (25 May), Mexico City authorities issued a weather alert across all 16 boroughs due to anticipated adverse weather conditions.
• The Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection warned of heavy rainfall, hailstorms, and wind gusts throughout the afternoon and evening.
• The alert is in effect from 1400 hours (local time) to 2300 hours (local time), during which intense rainfall and associated hazards are expected.
• Rainfall between 15 to 29 millimeters is forecast across the city, along with the possibility of hail.
• Wind gusts are projected to exceed 50 kilometres per hour, increasing the risk of falling branches, tarpaulins, and other debris.
