The Central Weather Administration (CWA) issued a Heavy Rain Advisory at 1515 hours (local time) on Saturday (08 August).

The advisory is in effect from late afternoon through the night on Saturday (08 August) for Keelung City, the North Coast, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, and the mountainous areas of Hsinchu County, Miaoli County and Taichung City.
