As per reports, parts of Romania are affected by heatwave codes on Sunday (10 August):

• An orange code is applicable after 1000 hours, to all counties on the western border, where there will be extreme thermal discomfort, with maximums of 39 degrees Celsius.
• From the same hour, a new yellow heatwave code will include Maramures, western Transylvania, northern and eastern Oltenia, Muntenia, southern Moldova and the continental part of Dobrogea. There, temperatures will rise to 37 degrees Celsius.
