As per reports, the district administration of Gopalganj has been put on high alert in view of the possibility of a flood on Wednesday (15 July). The officials inspected the Dumaria Ghat and Gausia Dam to assess the condition of the embankments.

During the inspection, the authorities directed to keep special vigil at sensitive locations, conduct regular inspections of the embankments, and make preparations to deal with emergency.
