As per reports, Google has released emergency security updates to address a high-severity zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2025-6554) in the Chrome browser that has been actively exploited. Discovered by Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG), the flaw is a type confusion vulnerability in the V8 JavaScript engine, which could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code on unpatched systems.
