According to reports, gig and platform workers’ unions in Telangana have withdrawn their indefinite strike, which was scheduled to take place from Saturday (08 August).
The withdrawal took place after two rounds of discussions on Friday (07 August), where they were assured that their demands would be met. The participating unions decided to withdraw their strike for ten days. In case their demands are not met within the given timeline, they would decide their next course of action.
