As per reports, employees of Keya Knit Composite Garment Factory in the Jarun area of Gazipur city launched a strike demanding their overdue salaries and bonuses, on Tuesday (02 April).
The protest began around 0700 hours (local time), where workers blocked the Konabari-Kashimpur regional road. By 1000 hours (local time), the industrial police had intervened, dispersing the protesters and restoring normal traffic flow.
