According to reports, several filling stations will be temporarily closed between 0900 hours to 1100 hours in January. The temporary closures are to check the accuracy of fuel dispensing pump’s readings in accordance to Chapter 151 of the Weights and Measures Act 1983 by the Ministry of Finance and Economy’s Weights and Measures Unit (SDT).

Affected stations are: Berakas Filling Station on 09 January; Tumasek Filling Station on 10 January; Mar’azmala Filling Station and Syarikat Perniagaan Melayu Sdn Bhd Filling Station on 11 January; Kampong Keriam Filling Station on 17 January; and Batang Duri Filling Station on 18 January.
