As per reports, the National Police’s Traffic Corps (Korlantas) is planning to limit the operational hours of freight trucks with the aim of minimizing accidents and congestion during the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 holidays.
• Korlantas Chief Inspector General has stated that during Operation Candle 2024 from 22 December to 02 January 2025, special rules will be imposed on such vehicles on toll roads and arterial roads.
• Vehicles hauling goods will only be allowed to operate on arterial roads from 2200 hours to 0500 hours.
