As per reports, flooding occurred in RT 33, Simpang 4 Sipin Subdistrict, Telanaipura District, Jambi City, on Saturday (02 May) following heavy rainfall since early morning.

Water reportedly began entering residents’ homes at around 0200 hours (WIB) and continued rising, with flood levels reaching around 0.5 metres inside some houses.

• Residents reported disruption to rest and daily activities, while small businesses, including laundry operations, were temporarily affected.
• The area has reportedly experienced recurring flooding in recent years, with residents linking the issue to changes in local development and drainage conditions.
