As per reports, Quinte Conservation has issued a flood watch for the Quinte region in Ontario, effective Sunday (05 April) and scheduled to remain in place until Friday (10 April).

• The advisory follows 20 to 25 millimetres of rainfall recorded over the past three days combined with accelerated snowmelt, leading to elevated water levels across rivers and creeks.
• Authorities have indicated that water levels are expected to continue rising in the coming days, with nuisance flooding ongoing and conditions anticipated to persist through the week across Prince Edward County and the Moira, Napanee, and Salmon watersheds.
