As per reports, flood alerts have been issued for Warwickshire and Coventry, encompassing the regions of Upper Avon River Swift, Clay Coton Brook, River Leam, River Itchen, and River Dene in South East Warwickshire on Friday (05 January). Heavy rainfall has been reported in London, with flooding resulting in the closure of Tube Stations on Friday (05 January).

• Multiple roads closures have been reported near Canterbury, with speed restrictions imposed for the A2 as the river levels increased for Nailbourne River.
• One lane of the A20 London Road in Aylesford remains closed following flooding in the area.
• A cold weather alert has been issued which will remain active from 0900 hours (local time) on Saturday (06 January) to 1200 hours (local time) on 12 January.
• Temperatures are expected to drop to negative four degrees Celsius in south-west England on Saturday (06 January) night and negative six degrees Celsius in rural areas along the Welsh border in Shropshire and north Herefordshire on Sunday (07 January) night.
