As per reports, the National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings for counties in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland which will be in effect until 2330 hours local time on Thursday (09 May).
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Morgantown, Fairmont, Westover, Kingwood, Star City, Terra Alta, Winfield, Barrackville, Granville, Fairview, Brookhaven, Cassville, Rivesville, Grant Town, Reedsville, Masontown, Farmington, Albright, Brandonville, and Bruceton Mills.
• In addition, a flash flood warning has been issued for Northwestern Garrett County in western Maryland including Mountain Lake Park, Oakland, Bittinger, Friendsville, Deer Park, Accident, McHenry, McComas Beach, Deep Creek Lake State Park, Swallow Falls State Park, Hutton, and Crellin. The warning will be in effect until 2330 hours local time.
• Reports indicate that the expected rainfall rate through Thursday (09 May) over is 01 to 1.5 inches in one hour.
