As per reports, a fire outbreak has been reported at a warehouse in Jl Cibogo Lamping RT 04 RW 01, Margaasih District, Bandung Regency on Saturday (30 May). The fire was discovered around 0400 hours WIB and rapidly engulfed the 280-square-metre facility containing large quantities of combustible scrap materials. Firefighters deployed multiple units to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby residential areas.

One person was rescued and no further injuries or casualties have been reported. The fire was extinguished by 0607 hours WIB. The cause of the fire is deemed to be an electric short circuit but investigations to confirm the same remain underway.
