As per reports, A fire broke out at a historic grain elevator located at 100 North Mable Road in Pinconning, Michigan, in the early hours of Tuesday (29 April).

• Bay County Central Dispatch began receiving reports around 0445 hours local time from motorists who observed flames at the site. On arrival, fire crews found the structure fully engulfed.
• Approximately ten fire departments responded to the incident to contain the fire. As part of the response, M-13/Huron Road was closed between Pinconning and Cody Estey roads for several hours to facilitate emergency operations.
• One firefighter experienced a medical emergency while on duty and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
• As of 0845 hours local time, firefighting teams remained on site to locate and extinguish lingering hot spots. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
