As per reports, a fire broke out in the Jawi-Jawi I and Pondok Duo areas of Central Pariaman District, West Sumatra, at approximately 1500 hours (local time) on Sunday (07 June). The incident affected ten residential properties and three motorcycles, prompting a response from local fire and emergency services.

Authorities stated that seven of the affected properties were located in Jawi-Jawi I, while three were located in Pondok Duo. Preliminary findings indicate that the fire may have originated from an electrical short circuit in one of the residential buildings. No fatalities have been reported.
