Fire incident reported in Mumbai on Monday (23 September)

As per reports, a fire incident was reported at Tata Power’s 500-megawatt (MW) thermal power unit leading to its shutdown, at its Trombay plant in Mumbai, on Monday (23 September). The company authorities stated the same on Tuesday (24 September).

The fire occurred in the control room of the plant’s unit 5, was quickly put out and no injuries or loss of life were reported.
