According to reports, a fire was reported at a firecracker factory in Kotavuratla, Payakaraopet constituency in Anakapalli district, on Sunday (13 April) afternoon. Emergency responders immediately reached the location after receiving the information.

Seven workers are critically injured while eight other succumbed to their injuries. The cause of the fire is yet to be investigated. The Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his concerns and has ordered officials to ensure immediate action on the case.
