As per reports, a fire outbreak occurred at the labourer’s colony of a garment factory in the Ashulia suburb of Dhaka in the evening hours of Thursday (04 January).

No casualties were reported in the incident, however nine hutments have been completely burned. The fire has been extinguished by three fire brigades as per the latest reports. The fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit.
