Fire incident reported at Shibuya ward in Tokyo on Tuesday (06 January)

As per reports, a fire broke out on the exterior wall of a four-story company building at Hiroo, Shibuya Ward in Tokyo at around 1420 hours (local time) on Tuesday (06 January). In response, the Tokyo Fire Department promptly arrived at the affected area to extinguish the fire with 18 fire engines deployed.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the fire is indicated to have started in a car in a nearby parking lot, while there were 24 employees at the time; however, no reports of casualties were made. Approximately 120 square meters of the exterior wall of the four-story building was reportedly burned, while the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the details of the incident.
