As per reports, around 1600 hours on Monday (11 November), a fire broke out at the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) refinery in Koyali, Vadodara, caused by an explosion. Several workers have been injured, however, no fatalities have been confirmed. All the workers have been evacuated.
The fire is reported to still be blazing, with smoke visible for kilometers. Rescue and containment efforts are ongoing, led by local authorities actively monitoring the situation. Emergency response teams, including ambulances have been swiftly deployed to manage the incident.
