As per reports, a fire was reported in a room unit on the 25th floor of a residential apartment located along Jalan Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) Boulevard, Kamal Muara Subdistrict, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, on Monday (02 February).

• The North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-Department (Gulkarmat) received the initial report at approximately 1735 hours (local time) and deployed 10 fire engines and 25 firefighters to the location. Firefighting operations resulted in the blaze being extinguished by 1747 hours (local time), followed by localization at 1807 hours (local time). Cooling operations were subsequently carried out, with the situation reported as safe.
• Authorities confirmed that no casualties were reported. Several responding units were stood down after the fire was brought under control. The Penjaringan Metro Police stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
