As per reports, a pan-Cypriot protest is scheduled starting 1000 hours local time on Thursday (08 February), where farmers will take to the streets with their tractors to protest against what they see as the ‘misguided policies of the European Union in the common agricultural policy.’

• This statement comes from a collective declaration issued by the agricultural organizations PEK-EKA-Panagrotikos-Nea Agrotiki Movement-Euroagricultural.
• According to the announcement, the procession will halt at the House of Europe, where a resolution will be presented to the European Commission.
• In Nicosia, the following traffic arrangements are expected due to the protest:
• Lord Byronos Avenue will be closed to traffic from the Griva Digeni Avenue traffic lights (Bridge House) to the traffic lights near the Greek Embassy until the conclusion of the event.
