As per reports, farmers from Ariège are planning to bring their tractors and block traffic for an indefinite period on the RN20 in Pamiers from 1400 hours (local time) on Thursday (18 January).

• The RN20 is scheduled to be blocked at the level of Pamiers Sud (Mac Donald’s roundabout) in both directions. Due to the blockade, traffic on the entrances and exits 06 (South Pamiers) and 07 (Verniolle) are expected to be severely disrupted.
• The blockade has been called to demand a meeting from Prime Minister Gabriel Attal in Occitanie to discuss various issues such as water storage in the department, increase in Gazole Non-Routier (GNR) tax reduction, and the health crisis on the farms in the area.
