As per reports, Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) activists surrounded the residence of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bathinda and blocked all gates of the mini-secretariat in Bathinda on Tuesday (05 November). The activists alleged that the government did not make adequate arrangements for managing stubble. As a result, farmers are being penalised along with red entries in their land records.
