As per reports, farmers staged protests and roadblocks in various parts of Italy as well as in Frankfurt, Germany on Saturday (03 February), to denounce green policies and foreign imports.

• Tractors marched from the A1 Sinalunga-Bettolle toll booth on Saturday (03 February) morning to the Orte motorway hub. Around 1100 hours (local time) more than 120 agricultural vehicles converged at the square near the roundabout in front of the Orte toll booth. The farmers present near the Orte motorway toll booth positioned themselves in the middle of the road outside the A1, affecting traffic as they exited the toll booth. More than 300 farmers and about 120 heavy vehicles were present, as farmers tried to occupy the motorway toll booth.
• In Caserta, farmers protested from Casal di Principe (Caserta), with about thirty tractors, while farmers also mobilized in the Rosarno plain, in the province of Reggio Calabria.
• In Abruzzo, around 50 tractors marched on the municipal territory of Castel Di Sangro, slowing down traffic on state road 17, up to the intersection with provincial road 652. A protest is scheduled at the headquarters of the regional council on Tuesday (06 February).
• Farmers’ protest also reached Rome, where around 40 farmers on about 20 tractors marched in procession escorted by the police in Formello, a municipality located north of Rome. In Valmontone, farmers with around 20 tractors demonstrated at the roundabout on Via della Pace.
• In Milan, a procession of tractors marched from Melegnano towards Milan since Saturday (03 February) morning.
• In Orvieto, farmers demonstrated at the roundabout of the Orvieto Scalo coplanar, with a few dozen tractors moving in procession between the roundabout of the Orvieto Scalo and the Orvieto A1 motorway junction, along via Costanzi.
• In Campania, around 200 tractors marched from Benevento towards the Telesina Valley along the SS 372 ‘Telesina’. The procession started from the Rotonda dei Pentri towards Telese Terme, from where the farmers marched backwards to reach Benevento. Around 60 tractors moved towards Santa Maria Capua Vetere crossing the municipality of San Tammaro. At Santa Maria Capua Vetere, the farmers organized a protest at the toll booth of the A1 motorway exit .
• In Sicily, farmers of the Belice Valley are scheduled to march along the Sciacca-Palermo expressway and gather at 0500 hours (local time) on Monday (05 February), at the crossroads of Gulfa, in the territory of Santa Margherita di Belice.
• Dozens of farmers are scheduled to meet outside the Pesaro A14 motorway toll booth for a sit in protest till Friday (09 February). In Porto San Giorgio, farmers are expected at the A14 toll booth between 0800-1000 hours (local time) on Monday (05 February), with Santa Maria a Mare area as the meeting point.
• In Germany, around 1,000 tractors blocked access to Frankfurt am Main airport, affecting main access roads to the airport such as the A3 and A5 motorways and the B 43 ring road. Farmers in Germany have been protesting against the revocation of tax refunds for agricultural diesel.
