As per reports, a group of farmers of the Maldhari community in Pachtardi village (Bhanvad taluka) of Devbhoomi Dwarka have been on a fast for the last nine days. The farmers are protesting against a company for reportedly making the wrong map while passing the land lease. The protest has also been joined by Kisan Congress President Pal Ambalia.
The farmers are also demanding the rescinding of a case filed by the company against a farmer for ‘land grabbing’ practices. A demand has been raised to continue the protests for a proper investigation regarding the company’s land map.
