As per reports, an explosion occurred in a Pemex pipeline (with flames reaching up to 15 meters high) located in the Chocolate Gap, near the Ejido Ricardo Flores Magón in Altamira, Tamaulipas around 2308 hours local time on Friday (20 September).
• The explosion caused a significant fire; however, authorities announced that the fire posed no immediate risk to the population as the incident took place in a remote area.
• No injuries have been reported so far and the fire remains under control.
