Explosion reported at Toyota parts factory in Aichi Prefecture on Thursday (06 March); one dead

As per reports, an explosion occurred at the Fujioka plant of Toyota Motor Corporation parts manufacturer Chuo Springs in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture on Thursday (06 March). The explosion, suspected to be an accident, has left one person dead and at least two injured.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the explosion came from a dust cleaning device inside Chuo Spring’s Fujioka plant in the morning hours. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the explosion.
