As per reports, two people were taken to a hospital following an explosion at Standard Oil, located at Bishop Avenue and East Avenue, Bridgeport around afternoon hours on Friday (29 December).

The explosion was accompanied with a fire in the area and multiple agencies have been called to the scene, including firefighters from Stratford and Fairfield.
