As per reports, exiled Bangladeshi author and human rights activist Taslima Nasreen is scheduled to return to Kolkata on Saturday (01 August) for the first time since 2007 to participate in an anti-fundamentalism literary event at Rabindra Sadan.

Currently residing in New Delhi on a long-term residence permit, the author is expected to attend a civic reception, recite poetry, and participate in a discussion on religious fundamentalism after being jointly invited by three organizations. Further details are awaited.
