As per reports, a fire occurred at Lincoln Park Elementary School in Columbus on Thursday (17 April) at approximately 1140 hours local time. The school is located on East Markison Avenue, east of Parsons Avenue.
• The incident was contained to a single classroom after the sprinkler system was activated. Emergency response was managed by the Columbus Division of Fire.
• As a precaution, all students were safely evacuated to a nearby recreation center, where they were picked up by their parents. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
