As per reports, Etihad Airways announced the resumption of flights between Abu Dhabi and Sochi for the 2026 summer season, restoring another route within its Russia network. The airline is scheduled to restart operations on the Abu Dhabi–Sochi route from 15 June.

• The service is scheduled to operate using Airbus A320 aircraft with five weekly flights during the initial launch period. From 01 July, operations are expected to reduce to four weekly flights for the remainder of the summer schedule.
• According to the published timetable, flight EY857 is scheduled to depart Abu Dhabi at 1405 hours local time (1005 hours UTC) and arrive in Sochi at 1710 hours local time (1410 hours UTC). The return service, EY858, is scheduled to depart Sochi at 1820 hours local time (1520 hours UTC) and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 2305 hours local time (1905 hours UTC).
