As per reports, an encounter broke out on Saturday (22 June) afternoon between security personnel and terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Gohallan area of the Uri sector of Baramulla District, in Jammu and Kashmir. At least three militants were allegedly attempting to infiltrate the Uri sector, of which two have been killed by security personnel so far.

However, the military operation remains ongoing and further details are awaited.
