Emergency declaration issued in Forest Grove, Oregon, due to ICE activity on Wednesday (12 November)

As per reports, Forest Grove, Oregon, declared an emergency due to increased ICE activity. The City Council approved $50,000 to support community organizations assisting affected residents. Residents have reported fear of leaving homes for work, school, medical appointments, and public services.

The declaration follows Washington County’s similar emergency, which authorized $200,000 for immigration-related resources. Both declarations are planned to remain in effect until at least 31 December 2025.
