As per reports, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred 15 kilometers north of Poso District, Central Sulawesi, on Sunday (17 August) morning. The earthquake led to injuries to 29 people, of whom two were in critical condition. The earthquake was followed by at least 15 aftershocks. No tsunami warning has been issued by the authorities.
