According to Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), an earthquake of magnitude 5.3 occurred 79 kilometers Southwest of Pangandaran Regency, West Java on Wednesday (05 August).

The earthquake occurred 2155 hours WIB at a depth of 18 kilometers.
