As per reports, the North Lakhimpur Municipality Authority has imposed restrictions on the movement of e-rickshaws across North Lakhimpur from Tuesday (02 January). The restrictions were imposed amid fear of traffic congestion and accidents and included the prohibition on e-rickshaws between 0700 hours to 2000 hours except on Sundays to ply within the North Lakhimpur Municipality Board area.
