As per reports, the members of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) held a demonstration at Dharna Chowk in Vijayawada on Monday (27 January), demanding that all aspirants who reportedly qualified in the preliminary examination for police constable positions be allowed to participate in physical fitness tests.
The DYFI State Secretary G. Ramana criticized the government for the delay, amid warnings from protestors to escalate their agitation if government fails to permit the qualified candidates.
