Delhi Traffic Police (DTP) issued a traffic advisory in connection with the Redtape Half Marathon scheduled at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, on Sunday (07 September).

Traffic will be regulated and diverted on designated stretches in South Delhi from 0500 hours to 0900 hours on Sunday (07 September). The details of the advisory are as follows:

• At Mehar Chand Market Signal, heavy vehicles from Sewa Nagar, Jor Bagh and INA side will be diverted towards Aurobindo Marg via 4th Avenue Road and Sewa Nagar Market Road.
• At Kotla Red Light, heavy vehicles from Gurudwara at Kotla Mubarakpur, Defence Colony Market and Andrews Ganj will be diverted towards Defence Colony Market Road.
• At 2nd Avenue Road, Jor Bagh Crossing, vehicles from Khanna Market and Lodhi Colony residential areas will be diverted towards Jor Bagh Road with no access to Lodhi Road.
• At 4th Avenue Road, Jor Bagh Crossing, vehicles from Sewa Nagar and Jor Bagh will be diverted towards Jor Bagh Road with no entry to Lodhi Road.
• Additionally, heavy vehicles will be restricted from JLN Stadium Red Light to Bhisham Pitamah Marg.
• Commuters are advised to avoid Bhisham Pitamah Marg, Lodhi Road, CGO Complex Road, 2nd Avenue and 4th Avenue Road during this period.
• Emergency vehicles will be allowed unhindered access. Cross-traffic movement will be permitted based on participant density and event progression.
