According to reports, two demonstrations will be held in Central Jakarta on Friday (09 January).

• The first demonstration is scheduled around Jalan Merdeka Selatan and Jalan Merdeka Barat, Gambir by the Civil Society Advocates Network and several other mass elements.
• The second demonstration will take place at the National Human Rights Commission Office, Jalan Latuharhary, Menteng by the Regional Leadership Council of the Islamic Brotherhood Front.
• A total of 1,072 joint police personnel were deployed to guard demonstrations in Central Jakarta.
• Meanwhile, traffic engineering at demonstration points will be carried out situationally by taking into account the number of people on the ground.
