As per reports, a demonstration organised by the Gerakan Pemuda dan Aktivis Muslim Indonesia is scheduled to take place in front of the Embassy of Japan on Jalan MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta, starting at 1300 hours (local time) on Monday (24 August).

Earlier in the morning, demonstrations were also organized in Gambir by the Forum Purnawirawan Pejuang Indonesia and other groups, as well as at the DPR/MPR RI Complex by the Aliansi Masyarakat Jakarta and other groups.
